[L-USA] RSVP: Letterbox stamps to send to Dartmoor

From: (letterboxr@aol.com) | Date: 1999-02-26 08:02:12 UTC
What sort of rubber stamps should we send to Dartmoor, UK, to be used in letterboxes that commemorate the formation of the Letterbox USA group? You may vote for as many of the ideas as you like.
----

Please select one or more of the following:

o map of USA listing our founding year "1998"
o tribute to Prayer Rock, 1st US letterbox
o dedication to Smithsonian article that introduced the hobby
o a stamp for each Region of the country
o tribute to our online virtual letterboxing community
o "thank you" to our friends in the UK
o humorous "L-USA invades Dartmoor" stamp
o copy of stamp from (or a tribute to) the first box in each of first 13 states

Thank you!

What a good idea.

As I am a UK observer I will not participate, this is something for USA
Letterboxers to decide, but I await details of the result with interest.

Regards to all.

Charles

I voted... but I hereby reserve the right to contribute a stamp of my
own design that may or may not be represented in the offerings above....
